Frequently Asked Questions:
Where did Firewalking originate?
The Ancient Art of "Firewalking" has been practiced for thousands of years in cultures from every inhabited continent. Its practice is found in indigenous cultures as well as most religions (including Christianity), and has always been practiced in the context of emotional, physical and spiritual healing.
Today, hundreds of thousands worldwide have experienced Firewalking (walking over a bed of red hot coals) as a tool for healing, transformation and empowerment.
It is a very powerful process to be used in our modern-day society… allowing people of all ages to experience breaking through their fears and limitations. back to top
What are the benefits of firewalking?
Nothing exists for thousands of years unless "it works"!
The testimonials will attest to how transformative and powerful Firewalking and the other break-though processes Inner Flame Inc. uses really are.
We are taught from an early age that "fire burns" and to fear the element of fire. We are also taught that we are "limited" in who we are as a person and what we can and cannot accomplish in life.
Imagine walking barefoot over a bed of glowing red coals - unharmed!
After experiencing or witnessing Firewalking, the self-imposed fears, limitations and challenges that a person faces in both their professional and personal lives is readily overcome. Participants will recognize their "unlimited potential" and live life with more confidence and passion.
Inner Flame's facilitators will also provide participants with simple tools that can easily be incorporated into daily lives to improve overall well-being. back to top
What temperature are the coals?
The temperature of the coals ranges from 800 to 1600 degrees Fahrenheit. The type of wood that is used dictates the temperature (or heat/btu's) of the fire. Inner Flame Inc. uses seasoned wood that burns at a low to medium temperature. back to top

Is it mandatory for participants to Firewalk at the workshop?
Absolutely not! Participants will be guided to listen to their own internal guidance as to whether or not they will walk on fire at the training. It is important to remember, healing and transformation is experienced whether or not one actually chooses to walk the coals. Positive change in ones life has already been set in motion… back to top
Why only Firewalk after dark?
Red hot coals are best seen after dark. During the daylight hot coals appear gray in color. back to top
Other break-through processes:
Arrow Breaking Challenge / Process
Imagine safely placing the tip of a cedar arrow against the hollow of the throat located a few millimeters above the trachea. Through our expert guidance and the energetic support and encouragement of the entire team; each participant will have the opportunity to clarify their goals - focusing their energy as they walk forward directly into the arrow. As the arrow shatters, each participant will experience breaking through barriers and fears that prevent them from fully achieving personal and professional goals and success. Highly effective!
Rebar-Bending Challenge / Process
Imagine, 2 members of your team, each safely placing the tip of a single length of steel rebar (yes, the kind used in concrete reinforcement) against the hollow of their throat. Through the facilitator's expert guidance the two team members will literally bend the steel into a "u" shape proving the unlimited potential and power created working in harmony as a "team".
Board Breaking Challenge / Process
Break through a solid wooden board with your bare hands. Your team will experience their personal and professional potential as they focus on breaking through a solid board - which is a metaphor of the barriers that hold them back from achieving their goals.
